Rental Income Support Officer – B&D Reside

We’re currently working with B&D Reside to recruit an experienced Rental Income Support Officer to manage a patch of properties that requires responsibility for maximising rental income

Location: Barking & DagenhamDuration: Initial 3-6 month contractRate: £27 per hour (Umbrella)Hours: 37 per week | Monday to Friday | 09:00am – 17:00pm | 2 Days a week onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patch of rent accounts and be the first point of contact for residents regarding all types of queries ranging from accounts in credit where the resident is requesting a refund through to attending evictions
  • Maximise income through early intervention as soon as rent accounts are in arrears with the key emphasis being on personal contact through phone calls and home visits
  • Lead on identifying cases where exceptional knowledge of Universal Credit (UC) regulations will enable the UC Service Centre to make prompt decisions
  • Prepare instructions for the Legal Team regarding possession and stay hearing
  • Provide cover for other Rental Income Support Officers that demonstrates the highest standards of teamwork and commitment to maximising resident satisfaction
