We’re working exclusively with a long-standing client to recruit a Sales Negotiator for their well-established office in Barnard Castle. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive team handling a varied portfolio of residential properties.
Previous experience in estate agency is welcome but not essential. If you have a background in customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn, we’d encourage you to apply.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:30pm; Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm; and every other Saturday, 9:00am to 1:00pm, with time off in lieu provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors to the branch
- Register applicants and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate and follow up on property viewings
- Handle negotiations between buyers and sellers
- Support with property launches and marketing
- Work with the wider team to progress sales smoothly
- Stay up to date on the local property market
About you:
- Experience in customer service, sales, or a client-facing role
- Confident communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Good written skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- An interest in property and the local area
