An enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent school in Barnet for a permanent position commencing in September. Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students' performance skills, understanding of dramatic techniques, and appreciation of theatre.
- Foster a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages experimentation and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Drama, providing constructive feedback to support their development as performers and learners.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Drama Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong understanding of dramatic theory and practice, with the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
