Nursery Assistant - Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, nap times, and playtime.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment by ensuring the well-being of the children at all times.
- Assist with educational activities as needed.
- Implement effective discipline strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of play areas and children's belongings.
Nursery Assistant - Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Ability to drive is preferred but not mandatory; must have a valid driver's licence if applicable.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is advantageous.
- Must be patient, reliable, and adaptable to changing situations.
