Are you a passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, with a specialism in French and/or German, eager to share your love for language and culture with young men? We're looking for a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding boys' school in Barnet, starting this June. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a real appreciation for languages and their rich cultures in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
What you'll be doing:
- You'll plan and deliver engaging French and/or German lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- The role involves fostering an appreciation for European cultures and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the languages.
- You'll cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French and/or German.
- Native or near-native fluency in French and/or German is, of course, essential.
- Ideally, you'll have some experience teaching engaging and effective MFL lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 for boys.
- Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and that special ability to inspire a passion for languages.
