About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Vehicle Paint Prepper to join our dynamic garage. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a crucial role in the vehicle refinishing process, ensuring the highest standards of preparation for our sprayers and contributing directly to the quality of our final product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles for painting to the highest standard, including sanding, masking, and priming.

  • Assist with paint mixing to achieve a perfect colour match.

  • Work collaboratively with the spray team to maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Prepper within an accident repair environment.

  • A strong, stable work history demonstrating longevity and reliability.

  • Solid understanding of the entire painting process and experience with water-based paints.

  • A relevant qualification such as City & Guilds or equivalent.

  • An ATA qualification is highly desirable, but not essential.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
