What is a Cover Supervisor?
A Cover Supervisor supports schools by managing a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be responsible for:

Supervising secondary school students (ages 11–16)

Delivering pre-planned lesson materials across various subjects

Managing classroom behaviour using school behaviour policies

Reporting back to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (e.g. sports coaching, youth work, tuition)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A proactive and confident personality

UK school experience is desirable, but not essential

You must have an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one before starting work
