Unique School Solutions is supporting a Secondary School in the S74 area of Barnsley in its efforts to appoint a permanent Learning and Behaviour Support Administrator as soon as possible.

The purpose of the role is to under the direction of SLT, co-ordinate the support provision for students who need help in overcoming barriers to learning and developing their potential by raising standards of behaviour and learning.

Job Summary:

  • To be a first response for everyday student problems
  • To investigate reported incidents of poor behaviour
  • To contact parents informing them of individual students' behaviour or exclusions as a part of effective lines of communication between the school and home
  • To liaise with relevant staff on actions to be taken
  • To administer appropriate sanctions
  • Support parents and students in crisis

To Provide:

  • Information, reports and analysis on student behaviour
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students you are responsible for
  • Attend relevant meetings when required
  • Other duties when required
