  • Sensory processing difficulties
  • Developmental delays and cognition & learning needs

The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of inclusive learning to support pupils with educational healthcare plans (EHCPs):

  • Work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning in the classroom
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to children who need additional help
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development alongside their academic progress
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions
  • Support with routine administrative tasks to aid smooth classroom operations
