Afternoon Shift - 04:00-22:00

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Line Manager to join a forward-thinking engineering team at a market leading manufacturing company. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, driving efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The Role:
Compliance with all environmental policies, ISO 9000,
Staff disciplinary and mentoring,
Safe systems of work,
Development of training matrix to ensure skill grades and succession planning within the department, maintain Staff Training Records and a good level of housekeeping.
Day to day management of labour to ensure production targets are met including the re-distribution of labour to meet internal and external customer requirements.
Adhere to the company's defined quality procedures.
Skills training to give improved flexibility across all areas of the business, including the maintenance of training records for all staff.
Material stock rotation in line with best working practices.
Logistical integration of bought out parts into the process to ensure any secondary processes are completed in line with production requirements.
Co-ordination of the manufacturing process to ensure planned maintenance programs are adhered to and managed in-line with the company's mainsaver maintenance program.

About You:
Engineering background
A successful track record of working within a manufacturing /maintenance environment ideally within woodworking/FMCG/Packaging.
Apprentice trained
Experience overseeing fast paced production lines
