Hours:Choose your own start times and day of work out of Friday and/or Sunday.
Pay rates:
- (AFTERS PAYE):Friday 17.60, Sunday 18.61
- (AFTERS ROLLEDUP):Friday 19.72, Sunday 20.86
- (NIGHTS PAYE): Friday 18.10, Sunday 21.96
- (NIGHTS ROLLEDUP):Friday 20.28, Sunday 24.61
Location:Barnsley, S74.
Job Type: Long-term, ongoing.
The role:
- Trunking to one depot, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels.
- Ability to work every Friday and/or Sunday
- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work both Friday & Sunday OR one of the 2
- At least 6 months' HGV driving experience.
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Successful completion of practical / theory assessment.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
