Day-to-day of the role:
  • Input data for requisitions and ensure accurate goods receipting.
  • Liaise effectively with staff, managers, stores, and suppliers.
  • Manage electronic filing and update spreadsheets regularly.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Procurement team.
  • Handle internal and external communications via email, phone, and MS Teams, addressing inquiries related to deliveries, discrepancies, and product information.
  • Process purchase requisitions and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Monitor and reorder stationery supplies and chase outstanding orders with suppliers.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety and equality and diversity policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection and freedom of information laws.
  • Participate in training and development activities as identified in Personal Development Reviews (PDRs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail and task organisation.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with SAP or similar systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support the service.
