Day-to-day of the role:- Input data for requisitions and ensure accurate goods receipting.
- Liaise effectively with staff, managers, stores, and suppliers.
- Manage electronic filing and update spreadsheets regularly.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Procurement team.
- Handle internal and external communications via email, phone, and MS Teams, addressing inquiries related to deliveries, discrepancies, and product information.
- Process purchase requisitions and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Monitor and reorder stationery supplies and chase outstanding orders with suppliers.
- Support the implementation of health and safety and equality and diversity policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection and freedom of information laws.
- Participate in training and development activities as identified in Personal Development Reviews (PDRs).
- Excellent attention to detail and task organisation.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with SAP or similar systems.
- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support the service.
