Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in North Devon on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience who are happy to work a rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: 6am - 6pm (Days)
- Week 2: 6pm - 6am (Nights)
- 4 on / 4 off rotation
Key Duties:
Carry out production operations from raw materials intake through to finished product loading.
Operate the raw material weighbridge and ensure intake requirements are met.
Accurately record raw material figures and shunt when required.
Produce high-quality products while optimising power usage, moisture control, and raw material efficiency.
Load finished product correctly and on time to fulfil customer orders.
Complete accurate data entry and compliance documentation.
Undertake routine maintenance tasks such as die changes, magnet checks, oiling and greasing.
Report hazards, damages, and incidents to support Health & Safety compliance.
Deputise for the Team Leader when required.
Requirements:
- Telehandler or FLT licence (essential).
- Own transport due to rural location.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience.
