Role: Production Operative
Location: Ilfracombe
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay rate: 12.25 per hour (increasing after 3 months)
We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join a busy team on a 3-month contract with the potential for a permanent role. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9.25 hours per day (37 hours per week).
The exact role will depend on your strengths and may be in either Casting or Post Casting Production:
Casting
- Heavy manual production in a hot environment
- Team-based work using Clave, Furnace Oven, and Crucible to produce metal castings
- Lifting equipment provided, but the role is physically demanding
Post Casting
- Standing role, operating machinery to remove and finish metal parts (from a few ounces up to 40kg)
- Using equipment such as plasma cutters, Tilman, linishers, bead blasters, cure ovens, and air-powered hand tools
- Working independently while part of a supportive team
