Hospital Director - Private Acute Hospital (North London)

Salary: 80,000 - 90,000 (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 - Monday to Friday (Hybrid)



Overview

We're seeking a dynamic Hospital Director to lead a leading private acute hospital in North London, offering a full range of medical, surgical, and diagnostic services.

This is a key leadership role for a results-driven professional who can balance outstanding patient care with commercial growth, service development, and operational excellence. You'll oversee all clinical and non-clinical functions, driving performance, patient satisfaction, and revenue growth through strong business strategy and people leadership.



Requirements

  • Senior management experience in an acute or surgical hospital setting (e.g. Hospital Director, General Manager, or Director of Operations) is good to have but not a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC standards, and hospital performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow private revenue, improve occupancy, and optimise financial performance.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage consultants, insurers, and referrers.
  • Skilled in business planning, budgeting, and developing new service lines.
  • Clinical registration (NMC/HCPC) preferred, or equivalent senior leadership experience in healthcare.
