This role will focus on Cost Account Management, supporting an IT Product Group’s OpEx budget of approximately £40 million annually. You will be responsible for budgeting, financial reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring cost compliance and identifying efficiency opportunities across multiple sub-cost account teams.Key Responsibilities

Financial Management: Track and control OpEx costs, ensuring alignment with the budget.
Budget Analysis: Monitor variances and provide accurate forecasts.
Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures across the Product Group.
Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
Long-Term Planning: Assist in creating a 5-year OpEx financial plan.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Experience: Proven experience in Cost Account Management, preferably in a defence or IT environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (SAP preferred), MS Excel, and risk management.
Communication: Strong skills for articulating financial insights and guidance to internal and external teams.
ITIL & SIAM: Knowledge of ITIL4 framework and familiarity with SIAM models is beneficial.
