Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for leading pan-programme category and supplier strategies, aligning with business objectives and wider enterprise goals, and championing best-in-class procurement practices. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead strategic sourcing strategies, including category and equipment plans.
  • Drive supply chain design and category strategy implementation across programmes.
  • Identify integration opportunities across business units and the Submarine Enterprise.
  • Leverage sub-tier supplier networks using BAE and Enterprise frameworks.
  • Conduct detailed category analysis to inform trends, demand, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business benefits.
  • Ensure alignment of category strategies with business needs and outcomes.
  • Act as an advocate for procurement and category management of direct spend.
