D or D1 Drivers – Urgently Required-Exciting New Contracts

As our contracts continue to expand, there are two positions currently available starting immediately in the Grantham-Newark area.

We urgently need D Licence and D1 Licence Drivers.

TransportConnect Ltd delivers CallConnect Transport to give people from all walks of life, accessibility to their community. If you are a focussed individual who enjoys driving and caring for people in the wider community, please apply. The hourly rate for a driver from the 01 April 2025 will be circa £12.86 per hour.

We are looking to employ people who hold a current D or D1 licence, full current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. A full enhanced DBS check will be performed on any successful candidates.

There is a career progression in Passenger Service Transport from 8-Seater, to D1, D and from there movement to Lead Driver, Supervisor, Office based CPC holder up to Transport Manager. It is a sector of work for any age of committed hardworking individual.

Our School Contracts for Special Educational Needs Children 06:45 - 09:00 and 14:30 - 17:00 (varies according to the contract) CallConnect Contracts have two shift patterns – 06:45 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 19:00 OR 07:00 - 19:00 with breaks given according to Drivers Hours Legislation D or D1 License with current CPC and LCC DBS would be ideal but not essential.
