Forklift Driver – Barry
£13.48 per hour | Temporary to Ongoing | Immediate Start Available
Nu Staff are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Barry (Atlantic Trading Estate). This role plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within the site.

Monday to Friday

6:00AM – 2:00PM
Pay Rate:

£13.48 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
-
Operate Counterbalance, Reach, and other forklift trucks safely and efficiently
-
Load and unload goods from lorries, pallets, or containers
-
Transport materials between storage, production lines, and loading bays
-
Secure and store loads safely to avoid damage
-
Complete daily forklift safety checks and report any defects
-
Support accurate stock control and inventory management
-
Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and housekeeping
-
Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors
What We’re Looking For:
-
Valid and up-to-date forklift licences (Counterbalance, Reach, Bendi preferred)

Previous experience operating forklifts in warehouse or manufacturing environments

Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and manual handling
-
Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Flexible and able to support additional warehouse duties as required
Location:
Barry – must be able to commute reliably
