Are you looking for a varied role in a fast-paced trade environment? A well-established specialist merchant is seeking a Sales & Administration Assistant to join its growing team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills to contribute to a dynamic business.
About the Role:Reporting to the Administration Supervisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter and on the phone, while supporting a wide range of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Providing excellent face-to-face and telephone customer service

Handling sales transactions, refunds, credits, and account queries

Supporting branch communications and managing general admin tasks

Assisting with stock accuracy and order placement

Maintaining high standards on the trade counter and kitchen/serving area

Helping to ensure health and safety compliance

Supporting delivery scheduling and maintaining delivery boards

Participating in the execution of sales plans and following up on quotes

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
