This is an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to join a company based in Basildon on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with one hour lunch break. The salary is between 25k-27k per annum (DOE) and this is a fully office-based role with free parking onsite.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Responding to email and telephone enquiries and resolving any queries in a professional manner
  • Managing and generating new leads by gathering information to pass details onto the Sales Executives to follow up
  • Following up on sale calls and completing and recording actions via email
  • Uploading data and documentation onto the CRM system and maintaining sales activity information
  • Responsible for cold calling potential new clients to build relationships and a portfolio of clients
  • Completing monthly reports for the business to monitor turnover, stock levels and orders
  • Supporting the Head of Sales with report writing, database management and other general office tasks

To be successful for this position, you must have previous experience in a sales support, admin, or customer-facing role within an office environment. You must have excellent organisation and commination skills with the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload to meet deadlines. You must also be confident using different Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Excel, and experience using a CRM system.
