The RoleAs Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of key customer accounts, ensuring first-class communication, timely delivery, and excellent service throughout the order process. You’ll coordinate with internal teams in purchasing, production, engineering, and quality to ensure everything runs smoothly — from order placement to final shipment.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that plays a vital part in driving commercial success and maintaining long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for your customers, representing their voice within the business. 
- Manage customer schedules, provide updates, and resolve any issues quickly. 
- Oversee orders end-to-end, coordinating across internal departments. 
- Prepare and present data for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). 
- Monitor commercial performance, costs, and materials. 
- Support new business opportunities and contribute to process improvements. 
You’ll be an experienced Account Manager who enjoys building strong relationships and managing complex projects with precision.
You’ll need:
- Experience managing customer accounts within a manufacturing environment. 
- Excellent communication and influencing skills. 
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. 
- Confidence using MRP systems and handling order data. 
- A background in electronics or technical manufacturing (preferred). 
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required. 
Please note: this is an on-site position based in Basildon; hybrid or remote working is not suitable.
