We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker / Carer to provide care for an 8-year-old boy with complex needs.
Role Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months of recent care experience
- Experience supporting children with Cerebral Palsy or similar physical disabilities
- Confident in assisting with feeding, bathing, and personal care
- Skilled in supporting wheelchair users, including safe transfers (bed ↔ wheelchair) and assistance in the wet room
- Able to support morning routines and accompany child to school (walking distance)
- Patient, empathetic, and able to communicate with pre-speech children using non-verbal cues
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00–9:00 AM
- Saturday: 5 hours (community access)
