This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but ambitious finance team of two, where your contributions will have real impact from day one. You'll work closely with the Directors and have direct influence over financial decision-making in a growing business.

We're looking for someone who thrives in an SME setting, where variety is the norm and no two days are the same. If you enjoy autonomy, responsibility, and being a key part of a company's financial success, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the preparation of month-end management accounts and insightful financial reporting
  • Managing cash flow, multi-currency accounts, and company investments
  • Overseeing the purchase ledger, supplier relationships, and staff expense processes
  • Handling bank reconciliations and balance sheet analysis
  • Posting accruals, prepayments, and assisting with budgeting
  • Managing VAT returns, CIS scheme, pensions, and liaising with external accountants
  • Providing support on Sage 200 queries and contributing to performance improvements

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on accounting role
  • Experience with Sage 200 (preferred)
  • AAT qualified, or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent experience
  • A proactive mindset, great attention to detail, and a desire to grow professionally
