Office Administrator Job Description – Basingstoke - £26,400 Per Annum

About Us

Vanta Staffing are recruiting for an office Administrator for our client based in Basingstoke.

We are now looking for a committed individual to join there team in Basingstoke working as an Office Administrator. Do you like providing a great service and working as part of a hands on team?  If yes, then we might be for you!

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve complaints and issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
  • Process orders, enquiries and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support the General Manager with daily operational tasks including data entry, reporting, and document management.
  • In the absence of the Branch Transport Planner, plan and schedule vehicle routes for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the General Manager with full conformance to all statutory and regulatory branch requirements
  • In the absence of the Branch Purchaser, work closely with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to coordinate stock levels and order requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Any other administrative tasks

Please note this is a full time position working 40 hours per week
