Geography Teacher - January 2026 Start - Basingstoke

Quantum Scholars are working with a lovely secondary school in Basingstoke that is seeking to appoint a full-time, permanent Geography Teacher to join their dedicated Humanities department from January 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to students across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with the national curriculum

  • Contribute to the wider Humanities department and school community

  • Support the academic and personal development of students

  • Participate in department meetings, training, and CPD opportunities



Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)

  • A passion for inspiring young people through engaging and relevant lessons

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate)
