Personnel Selection is seeking a Warehouse Technician to assist our client based in Basingstoke. This is a long term ongoing temporary role / contract.

Key Duties / Requirements

  • Previous warehousing experience.
  • You must be numerate and literate with a strong level of English both verbal and written.
  • Happy to perform in a manual role which will require some bending and lifting.
  • Confident to work with hand scanners and computers when needed.
  • Able to work with people at all levels within a team.
  • Able to work independently and responsibly when needed.
  • Helping with unloading of deliveries and keeping accurate records of receipts of goods.
  • Perform daily picking and packing duties. Getting items ready for shipment or delivery.
  • Basic assembly as and when needed.
  • Ensure product meet strict requirements for safety and packaging before sending out to customers.
  • Perform stock checks.
  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet company strict requirements and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Be able to liaise with other departments if needed with regards to stock issues, such as Customer Services and Purchasing for example.
  • Take responsibility of the security of the warehouse and goods within your working area.
