Role: Supernumerary Deputy Nursery Manager / SENDCo Lead

Location: Bath BA2;

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £30000-£33000 P/A

Our client are seeking an experienced and passionate Supernumerary Deputy Nursery Manager / SENDCo Lead to join our vibrant nursery in Bath. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to make a real impact in a well-established, high-quality setting.

The RoleThis supernumerary role involves:

  • Supporting and leading a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional early years care and education.
  • Acting as SENDCo Lead, working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure every child receives inclusive, tailored support.
  • Taking on management responsibilities during school holidays, so previous senior-level nursery experience is essential.

About YouOur client are looking for someone who:

  • Is experienced in a senior early years role (Level 6 preferred, but not essential).
  • Has a strong understanding of inclusive practice and ideally experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Leads by example through mentoring, coaching, and role-modelling.
  • Is excited to work closely with the Nursery Manager to continually raise standards and inspire the team.
