Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with a leading Healthcare organisation recruiting for a Finance Director.

Based in Bath (Hybrid)

This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Director. You will provide strategic commercial leadership, actively contributing to innovation, continuous improvement, and cost-efficiency across the organisation. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead on opportunity assessments, business case development, and the tracking of benefits realisation.The role is responsible for supporting the long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic commercial and financial leadership as part of the Senior Management Team
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis
  • Oversee financial governance, compliance, and risk management
  • Develop business cases and track delivery of financial benefits
  • Manage treasury, capital investment, and cash flow forecasting
  • Lead external and internal audit processes
  • Oversee tax compliance, payroll, and procurement controls
  • Drive efficiency programmes and cost-saving initiatives
  • Lead financial reporting, including statutory accounts and board reports
  • Manage Business Intelligence and Clinical Coding functions
  • Support contract management and pricing strategies
  • Engage with key stakeholders and represent the organisation at system level
  • Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and sustainability
