FLT DRIVER – COUNTERBALANCE ROLE

Rotational Shifts – Monday to Friday: Days 06.00–14.00 / Backs 14.00–22.00
PAY RATE: £13.50 PER HOUR
Location: Bathgate

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client's manufacturing site based near Bathgate.

This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position offering steady hours and the chance to work within a supportive and established team.

Day to Day Duties:

Working as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Moving large bags of product (not palletised) using hook attachments
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
• Storing goods in designated areas within the warehouse or production site
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required
• Following all site health & safety procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will need:

• A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent)
• Experience using an FLT in a fast-paced environment
• Good awareness of health & safety practices
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts

Desirable Experience:

It would be an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working with large, loose products
• Background in food or industrial manufacturing
• Experience using FLTs with hooks or specialised attachments

Training:

• Full training and site induction will be provided to the successful candidate.
