Reed Practice are seeking a Tax Manager to work within a supportive environment where your efforts are recognised and rewarded. You will manage a team alongside the Senior Tax Manager and Partners, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of technical tax services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and service your own private client portfolio, including the delivery of self-assessment tax returns and advisory work, billing, and managing work in progress.
- Provide high-level tax planning advice, including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Trusts.
- Oversee junior team members to ensure effective delivery of services on your portfolio.
- Handle departmental initiatives and programmes, and continue involvement in the supervision, training, and development of the team.
- Maintain department administration, ensuring routine tasks are completed promptly.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with other departments, clients, and partners.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and support the Tax Partner.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and participate in marketing activities by attending client functions and seminars.
- Review complex client tax returns and ensure high standards of practice.
