Reed Practice are seeking a Tax Manager to work within a supportive environment where your efforts are recognised and rewarded. You will manage a team alongside the Senior Tax Manager and Partners, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of technical tax services.

Responsibilities:

Manage and service your own private client portfolio, including the delivery of self-assessment tax returns and advisory work, billing, and managing work in progress.
Provide high-level tax planning advice, including Inheritance Tax (IHT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Trusts.
Oversee junior team members to ensure effective delivery of services on your portfolio.
Handle departmental initiatives and programmes, and continue involvement in the supervision, training, and development of the team.
Maintain department administration, ensuring routine tasks are completed promptly.
Liaise and communicate effectively with other departments, clients, and partners.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and support the Tax Partner.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and participate in marketing activities by attending client functions and seminars.
Review complex client tax returns and ensure high standards of practice.
