Kelsey House, a vibrant independent café bar in Beckenham, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone who loves to host and care for people, bring a positive energy and make people feel seen, welcome and comfortable.

What Were Looking For:
Proven experience at management level within a busy bar or restaurant setting
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of cocktail preparation and service is a bonus
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Attention to detail
Superb hosting skills
A commitment to outstanding hospitality
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing daily operations of the bar and front of house
Maintain high standards of customer service
Supervise and support front of house staff, offering training and guidance
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control
Collaborate with the management team on promotional activities
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and customers
Contribute to financial performance by maximising sales and controlling costs
