The successful Architectural Technician will be involved in a wide array of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, contributing to the production of precise technical drawings and comprehensive design documentation. The role will involve ensuring full compliance with UK Building Regulations, coordinating with clients and consultants, and supporting the team throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:
- An HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Comfortable working both autonomously and within a team setting
- Producing detailed technical designs and specifications
- Assisting in the preparation of planning and building regulations submissions
- Collaborating with contractors, consultants, and external partners
- Attending site visits and monitoring project progress
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
