Reports to: Head of Estates
Location: Bedford
Salary: 28,000-30,000
Type: 37 hours per week

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Bedford.

The succesful candidate must be able to start ASAP!

Main Duties

Outdoor maintenance of the site
Typical caretaking duties
General upkeep and a variety of maintenance jobs
To operate as part of the estates team in the care, security and operation of all site buildings and grounds.
To support in the daily operation and availability of all sites.
To assist the Head of Estates in preparing maintenance, development & project plans
Handle goods in and portering tasks by receiving, delivering, and maintaining records of equipment and parcels, and conducting health and safety checks
To adopt a proactive approach towards improving service standards year on year, with strong emphasis on providing a professional and memorable customer focussed experience.

Requirements

Able to start ASAP
Estates, caretaking or related experience
Knowledge of DIY
Trade experience desirable
Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
No previous convictions
