Astute's Power team is exclusively partnering with a leader in transforming residual waste into power to recruit a D365 CMMS Engineer with a strong background in Energy-from-Waste operations to lead the upgrade and optimisation of our CMMS across multiple UK sites for an initial 6 month contract.

The D365 CMMS Engineer comes with a rate of between 400-600 per day.



Key skills

  • Lead the CMMS upgrade for all UK EFW sites.
  • Maintain and update all CMMS platforms (D365) across the fleet, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, asset hierarchies, and spare parts data are accurate and current.
  • Audit CMMS data regularly to identify and correct discrepancies, aligning with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with site engineers, maintenance teams, and operations staff to capture new asset information and implement updates promptly.
  • Optimise CMMS functionality, including warehouse functions and Dynaway Analytics, ensuring data standardisation and actionable reporting across sites.
  • Support the roll-out of CMMS best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across all sites.
  • Generate fleet-wide reports, KPIs, and dashboards for maintenance performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on CMMS usage, data entry protocols, and analytics optimisation.
  • Liaise with IT teams and CMMS software vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement system upgrades, and deliver enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within CMMS processes.
