Our Bedford based Electronics company are currently recruting for a permanent Surface Mount Technician due to workload. Working in a small friendly experienced team. The hours would be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and then Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm.
The role would involve:-
Maintaining QCDM work standard and standard performances
- Performs production on several workstations according to work standards, shift assigned, applying each operation as required and following the procedure set
- When needed collects, controls and records the necessary activity data (linked to the product, traceability rules, micro stoppage, tick mark...)
- Checks product during manufacturing and identifies gaps in relation to the acceptability criteria (IPC A 610 and customers specific features)
- Detects any deviation from standards with safety, quality and productivity
SMT Surface Mount Technician
- Operates the printingmachine and/or reflow machine
- Add the solder paste according to the WI and check the printer
- Set up the feeder and replenish it timely during the production.
- Operates AOI Machine
