Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? We're recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive pre-school team in Bedford.
This well-established setting provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children aged 2 to 4 years thrive through play-based learning and personalised care. The setting follows the EYFS framework and offers funded childcare places, including up to 24 hours per week for eligible families using the 30 hours entitlement (open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).
Your Role Will Include:
* Planning and delivering fun, engaging activities in line with the EYFS
* Supporting children's development through observations, assessments and next steps
* Acting as a key person for a small group of children
* Building strong relationships with families and working collaboratively with colleagues
* Creating a warm, safe and inclusive environment
* Supporting daily routines such as meals, toileting, and transitions
* Promoting communication, social development and a love for learning
What You'll Need:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential) - Candidates with previous UK nursery experience or apprenticeship will be considered.
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* Knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential)
* A positive, proactive and caring attitude
