Alecto Recruitment are working with one of the UK's leading plant hire companies in Bedford who are looking for a Workshop Manager to lead their busy depot. You'll be the go-to person - running the workshop, guiding a skilled team, and using your mechanical know-how to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and motivate a team of experienced fitters and engineers
- Oversee all workshop operations - planning, maintenance, repairs
- Use your hands-on experience to solve problems and train others
- Keep the workshop efficient, productive, and safe
- Be the driving force behind a well-run, high-performing depot
What We're Looking For
- Solid background as a Plant Mechanic / Engineer / Fitter
- Strong knowledge of plant machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
- Leadership potential - or existing team lead experience
- Organised, proactive, and ready to take ownership
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
