We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor based in Bedford to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.Â
Summary of the Production Supervisor
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Location: Â Bedford
Type of Contract:Â PermanentÂ
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm, Fridays 8:15am - 1:45pm

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor
- Lead the day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Supervise daily assembly and testing.
- Schedule workloads, allocate resources and monitor progress against targets.
- Lead the production team, assisting with performance reviews, training and support.
- Root cause analysis.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
- Track and report production performance against key metrics.
Requirements for a successful Production Supervisor
- Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing qualifications.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and leading a team.Â
- Manufacturing environment experience ideally within heavy machinery, rotating equipment or precision components.
- Working knowledge of machining, assembly and testing processes.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills.Â
