Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes are proudly recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our client in the Bedford area.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Production Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector. You will take the lead on day-to-day manufacturing operations within the assembly and testing facility. You will ensure that safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources, schedule workloads, and monitor production progress against targets
  • Ensure adherence to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team by supporting training initiatives, coaching, and assisting with performance reviews
  • Ensure products meet quality requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications
  • Drive compliance with ISO, HSE, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the production process

About you:

  • Qualified in Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline (or relevant experience)
  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of assembly, testing, and machining for mechanical equipment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools
  • Great leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Proficient in production planning
