Responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer
- Develop and program control systems for specialised machinery.
- Conduct design studies, reviews, and prepare specifications for unique applications.
- Complete Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documentation.
- Support engineering queries and resolve manufacturing quality issues.
- Perform installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites worldwide.
- Travel internationally approximately 4-5 times per year for project support and site visits.
Requirements of the Control Systems Engineer
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens S7, Rockwell ControlLogix).
- Knowledge of motion control and servo drive applications.
- Experience with safety PLC design and implementation.
- Familiarity with languages such as Python, C, or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Experience working with vision systems and FAT protocol commissioning.
