Are you an inspiring and knowledgeable History Teacher with a passion for bringing the past to life in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our successful Humanities department at a thriving secondary school in Bedford.
About the Role:The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level teaching for the right candidate. You will play a key role in nurturing students' curiosity about the past, developing their critical thinking, and helping them connect historical events to the modern world.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons

Inspire and challenge students of all abilities

Monitor and assess progress, providing targeted support where needed

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has a strong academic background in History or a related discipline
