Our client based in are searching for an Maintenance Technician to join their Equipment Engineering team in Bedford. This role is crucial in maintaining and repairing electromechanical processing machinery, ensuring high uptime, and supporting their manufacturing operations.
This position is working on a rotating shift of (Apply online only) & (Apply online only) Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities as an Maintenance Technician in Bedford.
- Perform mechanical maintenance and setup of semiconductor process tools
- Replace and maintain pumps, valves, and other chemical dispensing components—working safely with tools that handle acids and hazardous substances.
- Implement and support mechanical aspects of continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and reducing downtime.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to keep systems running at optimal performance.
Requirements as an Maintenance Technician in Bedford.
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Material Science (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in engineering with a strong background in mechanical or electronics and PCB repair.
