Our client, a respected and established engineering and fabrication firm, is currently seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of high-profile structural projects in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling structural steel components to a high standard, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and site safety regulations. This role may involve both workshop-based and on-site welding work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MIG and/or Stick welding on structural steel

• Read and interpret detailed fabrication and technical drawings

• Assemble and weld steel structures to precise measurements

• Work to required welding codes and industry standards

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

• Support installation work on-site when required

• Carry out visual and dimensional checks of completed welds

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Structural Welder

• Proficient in MIG welding (Stick and TIG experience beneficial)

• Able to read and work from structural engineering drawings

• Previous experience working on structural steel frameworks (e.g. beams, columns, platforms, frames)

• Valid welding certifications (preferable)

• CSCS card and site experience highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
