Management Accountant : Belfast
Permanent | Full-Time | £dependent on experience | Office-based
REED Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a growing business in Belfast in the appointment of a Management Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to take ownership of the company’s accounting/finance function and work closely with a commercially focused Director.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and budget returns.
- Delivery of management reports.
- Preparation of annual budgets and cash flows.
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Financial analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations and narrative on key movements / budget variances
- Preparation of year end audit packs and liaising with external auditors
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Full qualified or 'qualified by experience' Accountant
- Previous experience in management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
