Reed Accountancy is delighted to working with a dynamic and established Accountancy Practice in Belfast who are seeking a forward thinking and energetic Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a Practice that promotes a work-life balance, foster a sense of collaboration in their team, and offer a range of benefits.

This Accountancy Practice works with a plethora of sectors; therefore, the successful Senior Accountant will enjoy the variety of work and fast paced environment that they offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prepare year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.
  • Prepare tax computations and returns (tax experience not required).
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects, including client transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and raising finance.
  • Train and supervise junior team members, acting as a mentor for some.
  • Assist in managing team workflow, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Accountancy Practice.
  • Prior experience in Audit would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with cloud-based accountancy software.
  • Good IT knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word.
