Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Architect to lead a significant transformation project involving the rollout of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 productivity applications. This role requires providing client-side support to ensure alignment with business objectives and maintaining continuity of business-as-usual services.


Responsibilities
  • Challenge and validate the Managed Service Provider's (MSP) technical solutions and approaches to ensure they meet standards and requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions by providing clear, actionable guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Enforce accountability by setting clear expectations and holding the MSP responsible for delivering high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Champion user experience by ensuring that the rollout of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications enhances productivity and meets the needs of users.
Essential Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant solution architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power Platforms, and Windows 11.
  • Experience in architecting and leading technical migrations of legacy EUC environments to modern Windows 11/M365 solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 portals and tools, including Adoption Score and Secure Score.
  • Experience in migrating from on-premises Group Policy (GPO) management to Intune management.
  • Strong understanding of best practices for aligning Intune policies with CIS standards.
  • Experience in implementing Microsoft Defender for Identity, XDR, and other M365 security tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in working closely with third parties and internal project teams to ensure common technical understanding.
  • Capability to provide advice on the effective use of M365 security tools to enhance an organisation's security posture.
