Requirements:

o Minimum one year`s experience in Administration.
o GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and visitors, making them feel welcome and providing a professional first point of contact
Booking, amending, and cancelling patient appointments in line with practice procedures, ensuring efficient use of appointment systems
Entering and updating patient details on IT systems and maintaining accurate records
Answering telephone enquiries, directing calls to appropriate staff, and handling messages
Assisting patients with queries, calming or reassuring nervous or upset patients and relatives
Managing general reception duties such as filing, photocopying, data input, ordering stationery, and maintaining a tidy reception area
Supporting communication between patients, doctors, and other clinical staff, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Working Hours:

o Band 2 - Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Rate of pay is £12.21 per hour and will be paid on a weekly basis
