Mechanical Design Engineer | Bellshill | Full Time (Part Time Considered) | £40,000–£55,000 DOE

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our technical team in Bellshill.

What will your role look like?

You will join Howden Electric’s friendly, innovative technical team, contributing to a range of exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing manufacturing specifications, drawings, part lists, purchasing, and documentation for live orders
• Monitoring progress through manufacture, testing, and sign-off
• Implementing product modifications and developing new product designs, including drawings, specifications, part lists, technical documentation, costings, and manufacturing instructions
• Leading projects involving R&D, manufacturing process improvements, and material sourcing
• Responding to customer queries and preparing quotations
